About the Academy

Racket Up Squash Academy was established in April 2017 by former England player and now coach, Niall Engerer, to provide a platform and pathway for people to get into squash.

The programme originates from Niall’s own experiences as a player, from his first moments on a squash court at the Romford YMCA to captaining the England junior team to gold in the Czech Republic (2010) and France (2008).

Ben Coleman

Racket Up is excited to team up with Essex #1 and World Ranked #56 squash player, Ben Coleman. Niall and Ben have known each other since they were 11 and 13, when competing in their first Essex Junior Closed in Harlow. For the years that followed, the pair travelled to tournaments up and down the country, quickly establishing themselves on the junior scene, before transitioning into the national set up.

Ben has since become an U23 national champion, part of the Great Britain senior team and has won 9 PSA World Tour titles.

We’re pleased to say that Ben will be bringing his experience, expertise and enthusiasm to the next Racket Up summer camp!
